Ambur Gore
Ambur began her Cosmetology training in 2004 in Arizona. She apprenticed a local salon owner, Ethan Murray of Urban hair, for two years upon graduating from Cosmetology school. After apprenticing and working at Urban Hair salon for two more years, Ambur wanted to create a workspace that specialized in Vegan and Organic Hair Care using less chemicals.
That dream was realized in November, 2009, when she opened Honeycomb Studio on 24th Street and Thomas Road in Phoenix, Arizona. In May, 2013 she relocated the salon to the Willo neighborhood, off of 7th Avenue and Thomas Road in Phoenix, AZ.
Ambur loves doing hair. She likes doing almost anything from a blonde highlight to creative runway hair. She competed at Hair Wars in 2006 (Scottsdale, AZ) and 2008 (Las Vegas, NV) with the hairstylists of Urban Hair. She has styled hair for fashion shows such as SMoCA Nights 2005-2009, Scottsdale Fashion Week 2005-2010, and the Grand Avenue Annual Fashion Show 2010. Her work has been published and written about in Java Magazine-2010 and The Phoenix New Times-2009.
Ambur is available for haircuts, styles, custom Organic Colour Systems hair color (global, highlights, color blocking, rainbow colors, and more…), color correction, dreadlock maintenance for all hair textures (on a limited basis), and scalp treatments.
Besides doing hair; Ambur is a fraternal twin, a pet owner, and she loves the outdoors, hiking with her husband Teddy, painting, performing on the cello and singing with local bands like North Brother Island, Paula T and Co, and Desert Figs, and more.

Low maintenance can mean two things:
