At Honeycomb we stand behind the pursuit of healthier beauty practices for our Clients and our Earth. Most salons use traditional hair color, perms, keratin blow out treatments and relaxers which fill the air with indoor air contaminants, generally ammonia, lye and formaldehyde. These chemicals cause respiratory problems, headaches and irritate the skin. At Honeycomb our hair color and hair lightener and perms are ammonia free, sulfate free, plastic free, and paraben free. We use Organic Color Systems, which is a certified organic and vegan hair product line from the UK. Our Keratin Blow Out treatment is formaldehyde free and made with organic keratin. With the absence of these chemicals Honeycomb smells better and won't give you a headache! Matter of Trust Hair Donation
Honeycomb Studio is involved with Matter of Trust to donate hair clippings to soak up oil spills. Last year over 2,600 oil spills occurred in the world. They weren't all are high profile, but most had an impact on the environment.

Artists
Hello friends, I am looking for local artists who would like to show/sell there work at my salon. Be it wall art, Cd's of your band, jewelry, hand made cards, accessories, clothing, home made goods, crafts, etc... Art on the walls will rotate every month or so. Jewelry and what not can stay til sold, or til you pull it out. The commission rate is 75% to you, 25% to honeycomb. Let me know if you are interested and would like to come by and see if your work would fit. :)
